Today's Fishing Excursion

4/17/12
Well today...with no english class I decided to fish iron stone creek which is a clonfluence too the Manatawny. I have fished it before and had no luck.  I was told by a friend that there are trout in it.  I still have yet to catch a trout there im becoming very convinced that there are not any in it!  How ever I did stumble upon a snake basking its self in the sun on a rock. The only fish i caught were a cople of chubs and one blue gill which by the way was beautifull in color but did not take a picture of him.
He was not as big as he appears in the picture, I did not want to get too close so I just zoomed in from a safe distance...what a fine specimen he or she is I would say!

  2. Wow ! my first comment by someone !! Tank you very much you do not know happ I am !! I have been trying to keep this blog updated as much as possible but I just have been too busy and havent been doing enough fising :( As for iron stone, that stream irritates the shit out of me !! I have only seen two nice trout up near the downed tree just when your starting to leave the park and head up into the woods, probablly a foot in length each. Thank you very much for he info!! everytime i have gone there I went in completely blind just throwing all sorts of flies from size 22 nymphs to sz 12 royal coachmans and have not turned up anything but chuubs and panfish:(
Once again thank you very much,
