Hello fellow Tight Liners !
Massachusettes + Winter = COLDDD !!!
With all of this cold fishing is something I haven't gotten to do much of. However, I did go home for a weekend and did some ice fishing on Antietam Resevoir. Ice fishing was very productive with catches of crappie, bluegill, trout, and plenty of perch. Success fishing spoons and moon jigs tipped with waxies, meal worms, and trout worms brought success. Do not know if the ice is holding up since the warmer weaher moved in.
On the other hand I have been tying like a mad man! Mainly gearing up for Summer smallmouth amd maybe a musky, if i get lucky enough! Ive found an AMZING channel on youtube called flyfishingtheozarks! They have aot of big streamer videos that are easy to follow.
The patterns I have been tying are:
Schmidt's Mufasa
Scmidt's Red Rocket
Schmidt's Voodoo Squatch
Galloup's Fat Head
Im so anxious/excited to fish these pattens!
